SSCC believes that one must love the Lord our God with all our mind as well as our heart, soul and strength. Hence, the life of prayer requires growth in the area of study and learning. The Spiritual Life Ministry at SSCC offers classes on many of the great classics of the past and present, including "The Confessions" by Augustine of Hippo, "Abandonment to Divine Providence" by de Caussade, "Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis and many others. The e-seminary is a regular e-mailing that includes small selections from many of these great classics.
